Twin receptacle connector
eases servo hook-up
Hypertac Interconnect has developed a twin receptacle connector based on the rugged, high-reliability hyperboloid contact
Designed for space constrained requirements and ease of installation in applications such as servo drives and mini motors, the connector handles both signal and power lines in a single device. The key benefit to designers using the new twin-receptacle connector is a significantly reduced assembly time when compared to two separate receptacle housings.

Mounting is possible in two positions (180 degrees apart) using only four screws, and all contacts and insulators are easily accessible.
Further, Hypertac's twin receptacle connector requires a much smaller mounting footprint - only 38mm hole fixing centres compared with 48mm for two separate receptacle housings.
The connector is capable of operating at voltages of up to 630V for power and 125V for signal contacts.
The power site is available with six power contacts at 30A or with four power contacts at 30A and four signals at 9A.
The signal site is available in 6-, 7-, 9-, 12- and 17-way signal contacts at 9A.
All contacts feature crimp termination.
