More performance from DSP modules
The Heron2-C6203 processing module expands the choices available when configuring a Heron DSP system
The Heron2 has a high-performance 300MHz TMS320C6203 fixed point DSP with 32Mbyte of SDRAM and 2Mbyte of FLASH ROM. The 2400MIPS processor has more on chip RAM than previous Heron modules. This coupled with Heron FIFO access using the second (Xbus) makes it the highest performance C6000 Heron module available today.

The system can be fitted to a PC or be used in a totally embedded system Heron systems benefit from extensive library support, that means programs for previous Heron modules can simply be recompiled for the Heron2 and will enjoy higher performance without rewriting software.
