Hero Electronics has announced its new partnership status with Advantech, the world's leading embedded computer manufacturer. Access to Advantech's range of over 3900 products, coupled with its existing extensive display products portfolio and the experience of recently joined Business Development Manager, Richard Colpman, will enable Hero to quickly become a leading supplier in the embedded computing market. The Advantech product range includes industrial computers and network appliances, panel mounted computers, medical computing platforms, industrial automation, communication and interfacing products as well as more than a dozen formats of embedded computer board with a significant number of processor chip options.

Advantech has chosen Hero as an established and leading supplier of display and touch screen products to the UK electronics industry, having recognised that many Advantech customers also require a reliable source of displays and touch screens for the products they are creating.

Hero will focus on building Advantech's computer board business in the UK, with in-depth technical support being provided by Advantech's UK headquarters in Milton Keynes.
