Hirose has introduced the FH41 connector for applications in car audio systems, satellite navigation, multifunctional office equipment, LCD/digital TV, DVD players and many others.

The FH41 connector has the capacity to handle transmission speeds of up to 3.75Gbps.

Shielded impedance matched FFC cable with ground contacts can be used for effective impedance matching (Differential Impedance: 100 ohm +/-10 per cent).

The housing incorporates a robust lock structure.

The special impedance controlled contacts form a reliable hinge point for the rotating actuator instead of relying on the housing walls.

This means that the actuator is fully supported along the whole length of the connector and guarantees performance and a reliable connection.

A stronger, thicker actuator is provided that will not come loose even with rough operation.

Insertion of the FFC into the actuator is made easier with a wide opening of 110deg.

A firm and clear tactile click confirm that the correct locking of the FPC has been completed.

The FH41 features side catches that hold the tabbed FFC in place, which allows a temporary holding facility for the FPC with accurate guided positioning.

A high retention force of 47N max can be applied to the FPC.

FH41 is currently available in 40, 50 or 68 bottom contacts.
