New facility offers display integration

NEC Display Solutions specialist Horizon Technology has opened new display integration facilities in Lake Forest, California.

The facilities will include a state of the art Class 10,000 clean room, as well as display integration, test and lab areas.

Along with the display integration facilities, Horizon also announced the hiring of several members for the display solutions division from All American.

Leading the team is Rudy Rodriguez, the new Display Integration Manager for Horizon Technology.

Display integration through the new facility will include: touch screen integration from 2.5 to 57in, including SAW, optical, capacitive and resistive technology; security glass integration; LCD kitting; sunlight readable and high brightness display integration; and options of LCD open frame, panel mount and industrial displays.

"The investment in additional facilities and an integration team will help Horizon keep pace with the exploding growth in the digital signage and kiosk application market".
