The ProTek CP Series of subminiature monolithic transient voltage suppression arrays are used for the protection of sensitive IC components from the effects of electrostatic discharge (ESD). The new range of devices is designed for use in portable equipment, such as cordless phones, notebooks, PDAs, cellular phone accessories, and other wireless handsets. The CP Series is usable on I/O ports where the signal voltage is positive.

It will also protect in accordance with the immunity requirements of IEC61000-4-2 (EN61000-4-2) and IEC61000-4-4, (EN 61000-4-2), level 4.

These devices have been tested at up to 25kV of contact ESD.

In addition, the CP Series is available for unidirectional signal applications consisting of four lines (CPxx Series) or five lines (CPxxC Series).

The CPxxC can also be used in two differential line pair applications.

Both series of devices are available in a SOT-23-6 package, with voltage ratings from 5 to 24V.
