More funding for FPGA design innovator

Hier Design has raised $6.2 million in funding for use as general working capital, primarily to fund the continued growth of its business.

Hier Design has raised $6.2 million in funding for use as general working capital, primarily to fund the continued growth of its business. Currently staffed with 15 employees, it plans to expand its product development, marketing and distribution teams. Leading the round is ITU Ventures.

Additional capital was provided by Xilinx, Cadence Design Systems, Innotech Corp, Hier Designs Japanese distributor, and as well as Lanza Tech Ventures and noted Silicon Valley private investors.
