A new family of D-sub connectors provides a higher-density capability within the same standard D-sub shell pattern

Harting has extended its range of D-sub connectors with the introduction of a new family providing a higher-density capability within the same standard D-sub shell pattern. The new connectors are available in 15-, 26-, 44-, 62- and 78-pole versions are available, yet fit within 9-, 15-, 25-, 37- and 50-pole shell sizes, respectively.

A key benefit of the new connector family is the reduction of the space necessary on the front panel when a large number of connections are required.

The range includes PCB straight and right-angled versions with grounding clips.

For cable applications, a crimp contact for AWG24-26 cable and insulator bodies (15 to 78 poles) are available.

Crimp contacts are supplied either in reels or in bulk form, as with the other crimp contacts supplied for the Harting standard D-sub range.
