Harting has released an extensive mixed-contact D-subminiature connector family

The range provides the option of having a variety of contact types including signal with coaxial contacts (50 or 75ohm) or high-voltage power versions (20 to 40A). The connectors are fully shielded, which helps in reducing EMI/RFI leakage. All contacts are machined with a standard plating of 500 mating cycles, and first-mate/last-break contacts are available for hot plug-in requirements.

A lower-cost version, available on request, has a performance rating of 200 mating cycles.

Surface-mount compatible versions are also available.

These can be used in the PIHIR (pin-in-hole intrusive reflow) solder process, allowing a high degree of assembly automation and leading to lower installed cost.

A complete range of accessories, including clinch nut, spacers, board locks, female screw locks and a blind mate feature, is available to meet the requirements of virtually any application, making this product range very attractive thanks to its versatility, reliability and cost effectiveness.
