The web site provides a link to the corporate site at www.harting.com, so that interested users and prospective customers can still access the full range of company information.
Commenting on the need for a local website, Richard Wood, Managing Director of Harting, said: "Although the majority of the many thousands of individual products we sell are common across different market sectors and geographic regions, there are subtle differences in the way in which we address the nuances of our respective markets.
An excellent example, which is featured in a 4min video on the new website, is our dedicated manufacturing operation, capable of producing everything from customised connector/cable assemblies through to fully tested ready-to-run backplane assemblies, often incorporated within vertically integrated system platforms".
