New appointment at Hammonds

Hammond Manufacturing, has announced the appointment of Angelo Guttoriello as Managing Director of its European subsidiary, Hammond Electronics.

Hammond Manufacturing, one of the world's leading manufacturers of small plastic, die-cast aluminium and metal enclosures for the electronics, electrical and allied industries, has announced the appointment of Angelo Guttoriello as Managing Director of its European subsidiary, Hammond Electronics.

His appointment marks the next step in the continuing rapid development of Hammond's European business.

Since 2003, when Angelo joined Hammond as General Manager, the business has grown to the point where the factory has recently been doubled in size, enabling service levels to be improved on the back of higher stock levels of standard products.

Substantially more space has also been allocated to the customisation department, where products are punched, drilled and silk-screened to customers' specifications.

The product portfolio has also been significantly enhanced, with several major new ranges launched or in development.

Committed to distribution as the key route to market, Angelo's new role will enable him to concentrate on building deeper relationships with the existing network of European distributors and further developing the distribution base geographically.
