Accepting standard solder-type semirigid connectors, Multibend cable is suitable for a wide range of applications, particularly where some flexing is required.

After successfully completing a multi-million-Krone investment in new high-performance production equipment, Habia Cable has relaunched its Multibend range of high-performance flexible coaxial cables.

According to Henrik Ollandt, Vice President for RF and Communication Products: "This investment will enable us to produce our high-quality high-performance Multibend product with even greater efficiency".

Designed as a flexible alternative to semirigid cables, the Multibend product features: highly effective shielding; low attenuation and losses; good mechanical strength; high power handling thanks to the use of high-temperature dielectric material; and resistance to chemical attack.

Accepting standard solder-type semirigid connectors, the cable is suitable for a wide range of applications, particularly where some flexing is required.

These include: commercial and military high-frequency RF systems; cellular basestations; point-to-point microwave communication systems; repeaters; satellite ground systems; and industrial sensing and measurement equipment.
