Website upgrade eases design process

Harwin has redesigned its website to provide design engineers with a more user-friendly experience and resources that include a growing range of CAD files for download and a Datamate Mix-Tek part number builder.

To aid the design process, the Harwin website currently has 4300 step files available for download.

The company is constantly adding more CAD models to the library.

Enabling engineers to easily specify a Datamate part, the Datamate Mix Tek part number builder is an interactive on-line form that enables visitors to the site to configure a part from a set of preset options such as gender, signal contact style and signal contact quantity.

Other features include faster access to products and a manufacturing capabilities video Multiple search types are available on the website, in addition to the standard search by part number, pitch and product type.

This includes the new Harwin Product Browser which allows engineers to navigate through the company's product categories and families to find the product required with the help of the product images.

A search by competitor part numbers is also available.
