Two- and three-contact male crimp devices are available with various latching options, including friction latch, locking latch and no latch.

Harwin has extended its Datamate range of high-reliability cable-to-board and cable-to-cable connectors with the addition of two- and three-contact male crimp devices.

Datamate L-Tek single-row connectors deliver extra design flexibility and are available with various latching options, including friction latch, locking latch and no latch.

Supplied as a kit of mouldings and contacts (crimp contacts are supplied loose, and spares are available), the products are fully RoHS compliant.

The connectors are compatible with any female single-row L-Tek connectors in the Harwin range, and the company can also offer a cable assembly service for these products.

Datamate L-Tek connectors feature polarised mouldings and can include large (22AWG) and small (24-28AWG) bore contacts.

According to Product Manager Graham Cunningham: "These new L-Tek connectors - like the entire Datamate range - deliver high reliability in a small package".

Key applications include industrial, aerospace, military, medical research and safety-critical projects where conditions of high vibration and shock are likely to be experienced.
