Low-profile 2.54mm bottom-entry and SMT sockets extend the capabilities of the M20 range of board-to-board and board-to-wire connectors.

High-reliability interconnect maker Harwin is introducing low-profile 2.54mm bottom-entry and SMT sockets, extending the capabilities of the M20 range of board-to-board and board-to-wire connectors.

These industry-standard, RoHS-compliant parts support a cost-effective, high-performance interconnect solution for industrial and OEM developers.

The range includes bottom-entry sockets with PC tail terminations in addition to top-entry, SMT sockets, available in SIL and DIL.

Sockets with between two and 40 rows are provided.

They also have a 3A current rating and use a high-temperature moulding, matching the requirements of RoHS-compliant solder processes.

The new sockets are ideal for applications such as office equipment, white goods and industrial electronics.
