High reliability interconnect systems maker Harwin has appointed Wendy Bourne as RoHS Compliance Project Manager to oversee the company's successful transition to full RoHS compliance.

Bourne has gained considerable product and technical experience working as part of Harwin's design and product engineering team, and so is ideally suited to this new responsibility.

She comments: "The immediate challenges will be to communicate our current RoHS status, and future timelines to our customer base - and to provide them with full technical support".

"This will ensure that the switch to full RoHS compliance is as smooth as possible".

"Our target completion date for 100% RoHS compliance is 1st January 2006".
