Harwin has added press-fit options to compliment its range of PC/104 and PC/104 Plus connectors.

Harwin has added press-fit options to compliment its range of PC/104 and PC/104 Plus connectors.

Conforming to industry standards, the press-fit PC/104 and PC/104 Plus connectors provide a cost effective and reliable alternative to conventional soldering processes.

The press-fit style of pin allows for fast, simple insertion connector termination, eliminating costly hand soldering and risk of solder bridging.

This range also allows rework on the board by pressing the connector in a reverse process, allowing a replacement connector to be inserted.

The housings are manufactured from high-temperature nylon and the contacts are phosphor bronze with gold flash plating for reliability and performance.

The connectors have a current rating of 2.0A per pin, an initial contact resistance of 30mohm and operate between -55 and +105C.

Components are packaged in tubes.
