Component Assembly Systems, a division of Harwin, has released a new range of crimp receptacles to compliment the existing range of PCB-mounted terminals.

The new products comprise straight and flag type receptacles for 2.8, 4.8 and 6.3mm tab terminals and a selection of ring terminals to terminate wire to earthing studs.

Parts are available either in unplated brass or tin plated brass options.

The range is supplied as continuous chains on reels for ease of handling and automatic assembly onto the selected wire, and has been designed for use with industry standard crimp presses, typically available from suppliers such as Komax or Mecal.

To ensure the crimp receptacles meet the highest quality criteria, all terminals comply with BS5057/1999.

In addition, most terminals are approved by UL and CSA.
