Harwin can now supply the existing range of high reliability surface mount PCB sockets in tape and reel packaging.
Harwin can now supply the existing range of high reliability surface mount PCB sockets in tape and reel packaging.
Sockets are available on 330mm-diameter reels using 16mm-wide embossed carrier tape.
The range comprises three socket sizes, accepting mating pins of diameter 0.50, 1.00 and 2.00mm.
A beryllium copper contact clip is assembled to a turned brass outer shell, providing a high reliability test point connection.
Recommended PCB layouts are designed to optimise solder joint strength, while avoiding solder wicking to the contact zone.
