High-power LEDs take
on new applications
Falling prices for high-power LEDs have opened up a wide range of new applications from area or spot lighting to specialist high-power ultra-violet or infra-red illuminators
GTK has incorporated its range of 1 and 3W high power LEDs, and is now supplying a range of standard and custom modules to meet demands of the fast growing market for high power LED illumination. As a leading optoelectronics manufacturer, GTK offers a full spectrum range of high power LEDs in a range of standard circular and square packages plus units with built-in lenses and collimators.

New focus benefits connector manufacturer
GTK now concentrates on five product areas: connectors, cable assemblies, optoelectronics, PCBs, and product fabrication
GTK also incorporates either packaged or chip form LEDs into customer specified modules.
These can be based on standard FR4 PCBs or specialist heat dissipating aluminium laminated PCBs.
For the highest power at lowest temperatures GTK also places chips directly on ceramic substrates.
The range of possible applications for high power LEDs is hardly limited.
Some recent designs include strip designs for external display lighting replacing neon lamps, high power infra red arrays for automatic number plate recognition systems and ultra-violet arrays for printing on (decorating) cans. Request a free brochure from GTK....
