networks in 65 countries

New research from the GSA confirms that there are 109 network operators in 65 countries who are committed to deploy Edge for delivery of next generation mobile multimedia services

At least 34 networks are offering commercial Edge-enabled services today. The global interest in Edge is confirmed. According to GSA's research, the number of countries deploying Edge in Asia, Europe and the Middle East combined (36) exceeds the number of countries where Edge is deployed in the Americas and Caribbean region (28).

Similarly, the number of Edge operators in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, which totals 55, exceeds the number of Edge operators in the Americas and Caribbean, which amounts to 51.

Finally, 21 networks have commercially launched Edge-enabled services in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, while 13 have been launched in the Americas and Caribbean region.
