Green Hills Software has appointed Peter H Foley as Chief Financial Officer

Foley's responsibilities will include internal financial management, operations as well as participation in public and private capital markets. "The appointment of Peter Foley as CFO completes our executive management team", said Dan O'Dowd, founder and CEO of Green Hills Software. "Green Hills has enjoyed enviable growth and profitability since it's inception 19 years ago.

Peter's expertise in the capital markets, together with his extensive M and A experience, provide the financial foundation needed to build on our success and extend our lead as the number one provider of software development tools for the embedded market".

Peter Foley brings extensive experience in the public and private capital markets to Green Hills, having orchestrated an IPO and numerous secondary offerings.

Prior to joining Green Hills, Foley was CFO and COO at CyberXpo, an out-of-home media networking company.

He also held an executive financial position at Unified Financial Services, taking the "bricks and mortar" diversified financial services group into the Internet space.

Prior to that, Foley headed up the capital management and M and A efforts at Frontier Insurance Group, including new ventures.

Peter is a summa cum laude graduate of Franklin Pierce College, and obtained an MBA in finance (honors) from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
