Latest developments within the EU have brought new target market opportunities to a Yorkshire based subcontract manufacturing company

Based on the GSPK Technology Park at Knaresborough, GSPK Circuits is taking advantage of the reduced barriers to entry now available to them after the recent acceptance of the new member states which now form part of the EU. With extensive knowledge of the printed circuit board industry and expertise in key technologies, GSPK provide design, full technical support, project and supply chain management right through to logistics support.

The company focus on highly technical solutions for low-medium volume manufacture to market sectors such as automotive, security, power, telecommunications, defence and medical and as a result are well placed to take advantage of the possibilities the expansion of the EU has brought.

A great deal of research and an international marketing focus has catapulted GSPK into the global arena.

With an international edge and an existing customer base including Europe, North America, South America, South Africa and the Philippines to name but a few, GSPK has built up extensive knowledge and expertise in order to compete successfully.

This new phase of development has facilitated an increase in sales turnover by an impressive 25%, in what has historically been a depressed market, providing increased employment opportunities for Yorkshire.

Martyn Gibson, Operations Director for GSPK Circuits said: "Our recent success and the main reason for our recruitment drive is attributable to our focus on global opportunities and providing lower volume, high added value products combined with new product development".

Gibson continues: "It is an exciting time at GSPK - our key differentiation remains innovation, diversification, quality, fast turn and security of supply".

"Our new business developments mean we are in a position to provide increased employment across a whole spectrum of disciplines including sales and factory floor operators for the Yorkshire region".
