Being nominated for two awards; 'Supplier of the Year' and the 'Training Award' was achievement enough but to actually come away having won an award is fantastic.
We have spent a great deal of time and effort setting in place dedicated training programmes to help adopt a training culture throughout the company.
This achievement clearly illustrates how developing the internal culture of a business can provide direct and sustainable benefits to our employees and ultimately to our customers".
Dent continued: "As we all know, the electronics industry has changed significantly over recent years, particularly with the migration of manufacturing to lower cost regions.
We won't be beaten here at GSPK, which is why we have focused upon developing a customer driven team through training and development, a team that clearly understands the needs of individual organisations.
This key initiative is what has shaped our resources to exceed customer expectations and we have achieved this by becoming a service driven rather than product driven company".
