Jackie Chan, international action star and founder of JCAM Advanced Mobility Company (Segway SAR) is scheduled to participate in the opening ceremony of Global Sources' China Sourcing Fair: Electronics and Components on returning from filming Rush Hour 3 in the USA. Segway Personal Transporters (Segway PTs) are highly-innovative, two-wheeled, individual transportation devices that balance on their own.
They are to be used by the China Sourcing Fair event team to enhance productivity, as well as to boost exhibitors' visibility to buyers through exclusive product advertising placements.
Chan said: 'Segway PTs are mistakenly presumed to be primarily for leisure purposes only.
In fact, their primary function is to enhance the productivity, manoeuvrability, visibility and carrying capacity of individuals who normally travel great distances on foot in the course of their work day - while at the same time being environmentally friendly and a joy to operate'.
