Genalog in partnership with Harwin and Starconn has a range of modular 2.00mm grid system connectors for high density, high-speed board-to-backplane applications at datarates up to 1.0Gbit/s.
The hard metric connectors are designed for use in telecomms, networking and high end computing applications.
The Harwin hard metric range from Genalog includes type A, B25, B22, B19, AB25, AB22, AB19 and C configurations with or without pre-installed shields, designed for industry compatibility.
A six-contact geometry means that a large number of varied contact mating and termination lengths can be provided along with sequential mating for hot-pluggable applications.
Housings are manufactured from glass-filled PBT, whilst the compliant press fit contacts are selective gold/tin plated for reliability and performance.
The connectors have a current rating of 1A per pin, and initial contact resistance of 25mohm and operate between -55 and +125C.
A range of accessories is available from Genalog to support all design requirements, including shrouds for mid-plane applications and coding keys to prevent mismating.
Components are supplied in tubes.
Technical advice and sample packs are available from Genalog.
