Now available from Genalog, the Power-Edge connector has been designed to bring power to the printed circuit board through an edge card connector available with three, seven or ten contacts. The one-piece interface is rated up to 5A and its contacts are on a 2.54mm pitch. Furthermore it reduces costs and will also improve quality by eliminating the bent pins typical of multicomponent systems.

Built-in card latches increase the withdrawal force needed to remove the power board, and optional alignment pins and locking clips can be provided to ease processing when attaching the interface to the circuit board.
