Genalog can now supply high-speed interconnects in differential-pair configurations that allow electrical performance at up to 5GHz operating frequencies. Furthermore they can also be partitioned to include both differential-pair and single-ended signal pins in the same connector. The combination of differential and single-ended in the same connector allows the board designer to optimise the system for high speed, where required, while minimising the impact on density.

Sets are available on 0.5 and 0.8mm pitch and in standard stack heights from 5 to 22mm.

Known as Q-Pairs, they are tested in 50 or 100ohm systems for impedance change, crosstalk and propagation delay at frequencies from 10MHz to 5GHz.
