The Tri-Mount plastic modular case offers packaging for a wide range of applications from the automotive industry to home and building automation. The case is novel in offering three mounting options: an 8-/11-pin socket, DIN rail and wall mounting. Typical applications are relays, timers, transducers, transmitters, thermostat, sensing and monitoring devices.
The Tri-Mount case has cover dimension 43 x 78 x 76mm, and snaps together with the baseplate for the appropriate mounting option.
The case cover has PCB guides for two vertical PCBs.
Its top can accommodate with spacer a horizontal PCB, which is ideal for holding signalling devices, indicators and switches.
One type of baseplate offers the 8-/11-pin socket mounting facility and a second type is used for both rail and wall mounting.
This incorporates a novel pair of clips that can be snapped in the holes of the baseplate in two different position.
The clips are snapped in to outer holes of the baseplate for wall mounting and simply changed to the inner hole positions to facilitate rail mounting.
The case base PCB has space on both sides for terminals.
Customer can use the standard lug size terminal or can use standard commercial terminals from Phoenix, Weidmuller, Wago, Molex and other suppliers.
