The newly developed LEON3-FT CPU will be implemented in the onboard computer, a core satellite component.
The Taiwanese National Space Organisation (NSPO) announced earlier this year that the on-board computer for the Argo satellite will be based on the LEON3-FT fault-tolerant processor implemented in a radiation-tolerant Actel RTAX2000S FPGA Gaisler Research has now received the order for the LEON3-FT-RTAX design from ACER, who is designing the onboard computer for the satellite
