Future and Tyco Electronics have joined forces to launch the CoEv range of magnetics components. Future will represent the magnetics components throughout Europe. Tyco Electronics designs and manufactures digital and analogue telecomms interface transformers, inductors, broadband signal splitters and filters, and switching power magnetic components (eg drum cores) that are used in a variety of applications including xDSL equipment, power supplies, and power converters.

Tyco Electronics power inductors include some of the highest current and smallest size drum cores available today.

The launch of this product range signifies an even deeper partnership between Future and Tyco Electronics.

"We see Future as an excellent distributor for the CoEv range of products", said Chris White, Regional Sales Manager Northern Europe, Tyco Electronics Power Components.

"There are both synergies with other products they sell and also good account coverage that means our products will become known to many potential customers.

Future's focus on design makes them very attractive to work with, for both CoEv magnetics and our Raychem Circuit Protection PolySwitch circuit protection devices".

"We are excited to be launching the CoEv magnetics components", said Gurjit Gill, Technical Director, Future Europe.

"They have the capacity to provide custom products which provides an ideal platform for our Technical Solutions Managers to create bespoke design-in opportunities".
