Tyco appoints Future for Germany, UK and Italy: News from Future Electronics

Tyco Electronics has appointed Future Electronics as franchised distributor for Germany, the UK and Italy. The deal covers the complete Tyco Electronics portfolio of interconnect products and technologies, including the AMP, Alcoswitch, Augat, Ansley, Greenpar (RF connector) and Triad ranges of electromechanical devices for industrial, telecomms, datacomms and power applications. As a result, Future's enhanced linecard now provides one of the most extensive product offerings in electronic interconnection components and systems currently available through distribution.

"Tyco's portfolio features some of the industry's foremost brands in interconnect and electro-mechanical technology", comments Graeme McGrory, Future Europe vice president and managing director.

"These prestigious lines will significantly help to sustain and feed the design activities of our engineering teams in the field developed with our ever increasing inter-connect capabilities".
