Sanyo adopts SystemC behavioural synthesis
Sanyo Electric has adopted Forte's SystemC behavioural synthesis product, Cynthesizer, for the implementation of its high-performance designs for multimedia and other consumer semiconductor devices.

Sanyo Electric Co has adopted Forte's SystemC behavioural synthesis product, Cynthesizer, for the implementation of its high-performance designs for multimedia and other consumer semiconductor devices. This announcement extends Forte's lead in the behavioural synthesis market for consumer electronics. "As a leader in the consumer electronics market, Sanyo must continue to deliver high-quality, leading-edge products to our customers".
"To effectively implement our design algorithms in the latest high-performance processes, we need a behavioural synthesis product to deliver high-quality RTL", stated Fumiaki Nagao, Senior Staff Member at Sanyo Electronic Co.
"Forte's Cynthesizer has demonstrated its ability to quickly synthesise high-quality RTL from complex algorithms without sacrificing quality of results".
"We expect Cynthesizer to help cut months off our design cycle, while providing us with a complete and automated verification flow".
