FarSite has added Windows support for the popular FarSync WAN TE1 product, the E1 PCI-X communications card. The drivers add support for Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003. Full bandwidth on unstructured E1 G.703 lines (2.048Mbit/s) and E1 fractional (G.703/G.704) (64Kbit/s to 1.984Mbit/s) are supported with easy software configuration.

Both the modern RJ48C (RJ45) connectors and the traditional twin coax are available on the card.

The Windows support includes a multichannel line protocol analyser to assist network line debugging.

The interface to the card is presented as an NDIS LAN driver with TCP/IP running over PPP with optional authentication by CHAP or PAP (RFC 1334).
