White LEDs shed light on new applications
Developed as a result of an extensive research programme, the OptiLED range of high performance white LED lamps is now available from Forge Europa.

Developed as a result of an extensive research programme, the OptiLED range of high performance white LED lamps is now available from Forge Europa. Further enhancing the scope of application for LED technology, the comprehensive range of package and performance options includes round, elliptical, rectangular and square shapes with typical performance of better than 6cd in a 10-degree 5mm package. With typical chromaticity co-ordinates of x = 0.31, y = 0.32, volume production can be bin coded for hue.
Copper leadframes are supplied as standard for most items, enhancing performance and reliability, and all white LED products can be supplied with or without standoffs.
A comprehensive website has been launched to support the new OptiLED range at www.whiteleds.co.uk.
