Forge Europa claims to have perfected a cost-conscious technique to provide LED backlighting for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications

The new method, which can be tailored to customers' individual requirements, means that large areas can now be consistently illuminated using LED technology and even the most discerning viewer will be pleased with the consistency of the results. In addition, due to recent advances in substrate efficiencies, the backlights require very small numbers of LEDs to illuminate large areas, meaning that they are ideal for applications requiring low current consumption.

Typically backlights can be supplied with a maximum height of 100mm with length and shape to suit the application.

Depth is a remarkably slim 2.5mm.

The full spectrum of colours is offered including high-brightness pure green 525nm, blue and white.
