Security company Gunnebo has acquired 654,000 series B shares in Fingerprint Cards, making it second largest shareholder
"It's advantageous for us to get a strong industrial company as a part owner who has clearly shown their belief in our technology", says Lennart Carlson, CEO and President at Fingerprint Cards. Gunnebo has been evaluating Fingerprint Cards' technology for quite some time and Bjarne Holmqvist, Gunnebo's President and CEO, says, "This purchase of a major shareholding reflects the great potential we believe exists for closer co-operation, mainly between the Division Gunnebo Integrated Security and Fingerprint Cards".
