Fluke has extended its 110 Series of rugged, compact, true-RMS digital multimeters (DMMs) with a family of four, each designed to meet the specific needs of different users The Fluke 117 is an electricians' DMM with noncontact voltage detection: the Fluke 116 includes temperature and microamps measurement for HVAC engineers: the Fluke 115 has extra functions for field service testing and industrial applications: and the Fluke 114 is an electrical troubleshooting tool for residential and commercial applications

The backlit displays are 30% larger than the existing 110 Series, and feature big, easy-to-read digits.

All three models enable ergonomic one-handed operation and are CAT III 600V safety rated.

The new Fluke 117 Electricians' DMM is suited for use in commercial settings such as buildings, hospitals and schools.

The meter has integrated VoltAlert noncontact voltage detection that quickly and safely senses the presence of AC voltage (eliminating the need to carry another tool) and visually indicates proper grounding.

Its Auto-V automatic volts detection function eliminates guesswork by determining AC/DC voltage, and a new low impedance input function helps prevent false readings due to ghost (stray) voltages.

The new Fluke 116 DMM with temperature and microamps measurement has functions that help engineers quickly troubleshoot problems with heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and flame sensors.

It has a LoZ function, and other features for performing a wide range of tests such as measuring superheat and subcooling, troubleshooting the defrost control on a heat pump, and taking temperature surveys.

The new Fluke 115 DMM for field service testing is ideal for technicians carrying out electrical and electronic testing in field service and industrial applications.

Its complete function set (including measurement of AC/DC current) simplifies working.

The new Fluke 114 DMM is a straightforward electrical troubleshooting tool that is perfect for everyday use and go/no-go testing in residential or commercial applications.

In addition to a full set of basic DMM functions, it also has a special feature that eliminates inaccurate readings caused by ghost voltages.

The new 110 Series DMMs can be purchased from Fluke authorised distributors and wholesalers. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
