Fabless forum rides the cusp of change
Future Horizons has revealed the lineup for its 2005 International Fabless Forum (IFF2005).

Future Horizons has revealed the lineup for its 2005 International fabless Forum (IFF2005). The third annual event will be staged at the Hilton Hotel in Antwerp, Belgium, from 13th to 15th November. The theme for IFF2005 is 'Riding the cusp of change', and will explore the global fabless and chipless design house industry and include presentations from world-renown industry keynote speakers, plus the latest market research and industry analysis forecasts from Future Horizons.
'Having survived both the worst recession and funding drought in semiconductor history, the fabless community now faces two new hurdles; a shortage of wafer fab capacity - just when firms were hoping to cash in on their past R and D - and a nanometre design brick wall - threatening their design competence', said Malcolm Penn, Chief Executive, Future Horizons.
The IFF2005 forum provides a platform to debate how to turn the challenges faced by the fables industry into business success, both via formal presentations, panel sessions and informal one-on-one networking.
