Customised CD-ROM simplifies
ordering for BAA
Farnell is providing British Airports Authority (BAA) with a customised CD-ROM catalogue for the procurement of its electrical supplies by BAA engineers
Farnell is providing British Airport Authority (BAA) with acustomised CD-ROM catalogue for the procurement of its electricalsupplies by BAA engineers. The specially designed catalogue,which contains more than 70,000 products, will be distributed tothe seven major UK airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead,Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen).

500 CD catalogues, out of a total of 2000, havealready been distributed to engineers and end users in Heathrow,Southampton and Gatwick airports.
Orders of electrical componentshave increased, while feedback from the engineers has alreadybeen very positive.
