The Adda AB range of DC blowers, supplied in the UK exclusively from Fan Technology, is ideal for CPU and hot spot cooling in confined spaces. Available in square frame sizes of 30, 35 and 45mm and 7 or 10mm thick, the AB range produces airflow of up to 2.1ft3/min. Both 5 and 12V versions can be supplied.
The blower action means that the cooling air can be directed accurately to hot areas or heat sinks within the enclosure.
The simple two-hole fixing and the lightweight, yet rugged, construction (the smallest blower weighs 12g and the largest only 23g) mean that they can be fixed almost anywhere in the housing or directly to the cooling segment of a PCB.
An aluminium heat pad ensures maximum heat dissipation and all fans in the range are fitted with the patented Adda Hypro system that provides lifetimes close to that of ball bearings at far lower cost and in a smaller size.
