The Falcom C2D is a low-cost full-type-approved dual-band GSM/GPRS 900/1800 module for direct integration into customer specific hardware environments

The GSM/GPRS core, SIM interface, power regulation circuitry and EMC/ESD protection are scaled down to the very compact size of 64 x 42 x 11mm. This allows the creation of very compact, low power and cost effective solutions for the vertical as well as for the horizontal market requiring wireless information exchange.

The higher integration level reduces substantially the design-in risk and results in quick time-to-market factor combined with quick return of investment and higher design flexibility.

Hardware and software designers are supported by complete GSM-Evalkit that contains all relevant reference design information and full set of accessories.

The C2D concept offers quick and easy way for upgrading existing platforms and substantially improving their price/performance ratio.

The complete GSM/GPRS protocol stack (GPRS class B class 2 or class 10), the higher integration level and the very compact size make the C2D perfect for the design of new embedded wireless systems with GSM/GPRS connectivity like: wireless data terminals, point-of-sales systems, security mobiles and terminals, mobile navigation equipment, power meter equipment, vending machine equipment etc.

Samples are available for delivery from stock.
