Fairchild Semiconductor is introducing a synchronous buck convertor chip set designed specifically to optimise efficiency and space in notebooks using the latest Intel Mobile Voltage Positioning (IMVP) specifications Utilising Fairchild's PowerTrench MOSFET technology, the high-side 'control' MOSFET (FDS6298) and the low-side 'synchronous' MOSFET (FDS6299S) form a chip set providing increased current density and improved efficiency in synchronous buck convertor applications
