Bencuya and Beaver to accelerate growth
Fairchild Semiconductor has appointed Dr Izak Bencuya as Chief Strategy Officer and Thomas Beaver as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing
Dr Bencuya, currently Executive Vice President and General Manager of Fairchild's Power Discrete Group, will drive the direction and development of the company's power products across all business units and target market segments while retaining his current responsibilities. Dr Bencuya has more than 25 years experience developing leading edge power solutions and holds numerous patents.

Beaver will direct all sales and marketing functions globally.
He comes to Fairchild with broad industry experience, including positions as the former CEO and President of Wyle Electronics and a 30 year career at Motorola culminating as Corporate Vice President and Director of Marketing and Sales for the Networking and Computer Systems Group.
Currently Beaver is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Xiran, a division of SimpleTech, a leader in direct path streaming technology.

Bencuya has a BSEE from Bosphorous University in Istanbul, Turkey, an MS and PhD in engineering and applied science from Yale University and an MBA from the University of California-Berkeley.
Beaver holds a BSEE in electronics and business from Marquette University and did graduate studies in marketing at the University of Minnesota.
He serves on Marquette University's Engineering Advisory Board and is the holder of two patents in electronics.
Fairchild has also received the resignation of Hans Wildenberg, Chief Operating Officer.
"Hans helped us weather the recent industry downturn very well", said Pond.
"With the recession behind us, he has decided to pursue other interests".
