Fairchild Semiconductor has been recognised by Stack International a second year in a row for its consistent level of achievement and performance in meeting the high quality, delivery and service criteria required by Stack members. Stack International is one of the largest and most widely recognised electronic components user groups in the world.
Each year, Stack honours the top three semiconductor manufacturers that achieve the highest performance levels while adhering to strict quality, delivery and service specifications.
Fairchild received the Bronze Medal for 2001 at the annual awards dinner held in Scottsdale, Arizona.
"Fairchild Semiconductor has again demonstrated its commitment to Stack's rigorous standards by being named a top three semiconductor manufacturer", said William Adams, chairman of Stack International.
