Cump aims to expand customer base

Elixent has appointed Charlie Cump to the newly created position of VP of Worldwide Sales.

Elixent has appointed Charlie Cump to the newly created position of VP of Worldwide Sales. Cump has extensive sales and management experience and will be responsible for expanding Elixent's customer base. He will be based in Silicon Valley.

Previously, Cump was cofounder and VP of Sales for six years at Chameleon Systems, the Silicon Valley-based reconfigurable IC company, and has held sales positions at semiconductor companies AMCC and Vitesse.

In addition, he has EDA experience at Ikos, Sunrise Test Systems and Avant!, and so brings a wealth of very relevant experience and knowledge to Elixent.

"Charlie's brief is to broaden our customer base beyond our current tier one licensees".

Cump has over 30 years' experience in the high-tech electronics industry, 18 as VP of Sales, and holds a BSc in chemistry from the University of California at Davis.
