With powerful and exclusive built-in features and functions combined with rugged designs, Extech reckons it offers a multimeter for any application.

Extech Instruments has released an innovative family of 12 digital multimeters, comprising the 300 Series, the 400 Series and the 500 Series With powerful and exclusive built-in features and functions combined with rugged designs, Extech reckons it offers a multimeter for any application

Extech's 300 Series of dual function digital multimeters features built-in AC voltage detection.

Easy-to-operate and conveniently sized, Extech's 300 Series is ideal for basic electrical troubleshooting.

Featuring a noncontact voltage detector combined with a fully featured digital multimeter, the user can quickly and conveniently check for the presence of a live circuit prior to attaching the multimeter's test leads to the device under test.

Extech's 300 Series includes three models: the EX310, EX320 and EX330.

Extech's 400 Series of digital multimeters features a top-of-the-line AC/DC true RMS model (EX470) incorporating Extech's patented, built-in, noncontact, infra-red temperature measurement capability.

The 400 Series is an extensive line of six meters (EX410, EX411, EX420, EX430, EX450 and EX470) with models ranging from a basic eight-function manual ranging meter (EX410) to a fully featured 11-function autoranging true-RMS meter with built-in IR thermometer.

The 400 Series has a low current capability down to 0.1uA and easy-to-read 1in-high digits on a backlit display.

Extech's 500 Series is ruggedly designed and waterproof to IP67 standards, making them ideal for use in the outdoors, in marine applications, and in harsh industrial environments.

The 500 Series has a double-moulded housing, a safety rating of CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V and is drop-proof up to 1.9m.

This series includes the EX510, EX520 and EX530, with all models capable of measuring voltage, resistance, electrical and electronic frequency functions, and DC/AC current.

Each model also features a 1000V input protection for all functions, dual sensitivity frequency functions, and diode open circuit voltage of 2.8V DC.

The top-of-the-line EX530 has a 40,000 count display, 0.01uA DC low current capability with peak hold functionality.
