VCXOs shrink to surface-mount outlines

Euroquartz Group has added a new 7 x 5mm surface mount package style to its range of voltage controlled crystal oscillators.

Euroquartz Group has added a new 7 x 5mm surface mount package style to its range of voltage controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs).

The new VCXO-97000 series brings the compact, industry standard 7 x 5mm SMD package style to Euroquartz's VCXO family that offers a frequency range from 1.8 to 160MHz.

Operating from a 3.3V +/-5% power supply with enable/disable function as standard, the VCXO-97000 series provides CMOS/TTL output and features a wide frequency pulling range from +/-30 to +/-150ppm.

Two versions are available covering commercial (0 to 70C) and industrial (-40 to +85C) applications and offering frequency stability of +/-10 to +/-100 and +/-20 to +/-100ppm, respectively.

Specifications include control voltage range from 0.3 to 3.0V, output load of 5 to 10 TTL gates (15 to 50pF CMOS), duty cycle of 40% minimum, 60% maximum and startup time of 10ms maximum, 5ms typical.

Linearity is +/-10% maximum, 6% typical.
