Euroquartz has a new low-profile version of its 91SMO series industry standard 5 x 7mm surface-mount clock oscillators.

Available in 5.0 and 3.3V versions, the 91SMOL oscillators feature standard 'always on' operation and are supplied with tristate or 'enable/disable' functions implemented.

The new 91SMOL series clock oscillators have been developed to meet increasing demand for low profile surface mount oscillators and feature a package height of just 1.40mm maximum.

Frequency range extends from 1 to 125MHz for 3.3V versions and from 1 to 133MHz for 5V types.

Frequency stability over temperature characteristics of +/-25, +/-50 and +/-100ppm are available with maximum symmetry of 45/55% (48/52% typical).

Ideal for use in PCMCIA and similar applications, the new low profile clock oscillators provide a low cost, general purpose, industry standard surface mount part.

Specifications include operating temperature ranges for commercial (-10 to +70C) and industrial (-40 to +85C) environments, supply voltage of 3.3 or 5V +/-10% and maximum startup time of 5ms (1 to 36MHz), 10ms (36 to 70MHz) and 15ms (70 to 125/133MHz).

Oscillator output for 5V types is CMOS 50pF/10TTL for 1 to 70MHz, CMOS 30pF/6TTL for 70 to 100MHz and CMOS 15pF/2TTL for 100 to 133MHz.

Output for all 3.3V types is CMOS 15pF/2TTL.

Available on tape and reel or loose, the new 91SMOL series oscillators are sealed in a ceramic seam welded package with gold plated terminals.
