Noser gets thumbs up from shareholders
Esmertec's shareholders have approved all proposals put forward by the Board of Directors at its recent extraordinary general meeting
With a clear majority of the voting shares, Ruedi Noser was elected member of the Board of Directors of Esmertec for a two-year term of office. In its constitutive meeting prior to the EGM, the Board of Directors of Esmertec appointed Ruedi Noser its Chairman, subject to his election to the Board at the EGM.

Furthermore, Jean-Pascal Aubert and Hans Peter Baumgartner were also elected by the shareholders as members of the Board of Directors of Esmertec for two-year terms of office.
Consequently, as the Board of Directors will now consist of 11 members, the proposal to suppress the limitation to nine members was approved as well.
The increase in conditional share capital was also approved, which will enable the company to grant stock options to employees, executive management and board members in order to attract and retain highly experienced personnel.
